65 drop spindles

Im looking to buy some drop spindles for my 65. The problem is, my truck already has disc brakes and i dont know what year conversion was used. Looks converted to original 65 but is there a easy way to identify what year ball joints used. I dont want to order the wrong spindle - help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Answer a couple of questions for me.

1) Are your control arm bushings screw in metal type or rubber press in type. Look at them, do they look like a giant bolt head with a grease zerk in the middle or do they have a big washer and nut ?

2) Upper brake hoses, do they go to the frame rail in front of the crossmember, or to a tab on the front of the crossmemer, or to the rear of the crossmember ?

A pic or two would help as well. The dust shield on the inside of the rotor is different from '71-'72 versus the '73-'87's.....kind of hard to describe.

The rubber bushings don't have grease zerks, but the older suspensions with the steel bushings have a grease zerk with rubber seal behind them. So assuming you have the older suspension, you either have a '71-'72 front suspension, or someone left the '65 suspension and swapped just the spindles, rotors, calipers, etc. Still hard to know exactly what spindles you have......pics?
