Re: The original color of a 1970 C10
mesa
If you have the original glove box door and the SPID is still intact and readable there usually be a 4 digit code the last three numbers are the paint code You can check your paint code from several sites http://www.paintscratch.com/ Or http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorlibrary/ If there is no glovebox tag then check the back of the seat if it is original for the build sheet stuffed into the springs. Otherwise you may have to just look for clues and decipher the best you can as these trucks for the most part have received a lot of changes over the years

Re: The original color of a 1970 C10
If you have no data to go by,try looking under the carper/floor rubber, inside doors behind interiorpanel,up under dash,or any place that may not have been sprayed.Unless it`s been totally and thoroughly restored with a color change.
Give us more info on your truck, like:Is it resoired?,original interior?,colr of interior?,Painted under hood? What color is it now?

Re: The original color of a 1970 C10
The color is now blue. I don't think it has ever been fully retored. There is a part of the paint that has chipped and I can see yellow and green. I think the first color may have been the green. I will try and find more info. Thanks for the help...
