Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
I run 16.5x10 steelies with the 3/4 ton dog dish caps for that rugged, yet stockish look. Took me a while to put together a full set of those rims.

I know they have a little "bling factor" but that's how I like 'em. Alba wheels.

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
Mine use to have 16.5 split rims, so I had to get rid of those. lol the only problem with the new hd wheels is the lug nuts you need to buy, EXPENSIVE!

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
Are those the 9/16" lugs so you can use the center caps?Where did you get them?

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
Well idk if this is uncommon or not, but my truck has a Corp 14 with 9/16 wheel studs and the front is 1/2. Any info on that would be nice. But to answer your question the lug nuts are dorman pn 611-161 for the rear and 611-222 for the front. The caps fit ok, the fronts are a little loose so maybe a different pn would work better but this is what I found. I got them from carquest. I hope this helps someone.

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
The 1 tons with drum brakes,70 and earlier,had 1/2" studs.I guess 3/4 tons did,too?the rear could be a 71/72.
Who makes those wheels?I don`t think I`ve seen them.

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
i ended up going with stock steel 88-98's, with the chevy caps. problem is figuring out how to get the caps on the rear... they don't clear the center hub on my 3/4 ton leaf reared truck. doesn't appear to be enough meat on the center cap to hog it out to clear the hub. anybody seen any spacers to go between the cap and the rim? i dont' want to space the wheel outward, taking it off the 4 load bearing points on the center edge of the rim opening. (did that make sense?) lol

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
rupdog I run the same wheels and all I did was to run the original lug nuts on first, then the outside thread lugnut on, then there is room for the rear cap and black lug covers to screw on
