60 to 66 roadster?

I know, it sounds crazy. The cab I have may be too far gone to fix. the roof on my 61 is in bad shape. I was kicking aound the idea of cutting off the roof and running it as a roadster this summer, while looking for a better cab.

I searched for pics, but couldnt find any. Do any of you fellas have pics? It might look good, might not. If someone else has already performed this i would like too see it.

Thanks in advance......

Re: 60 to 66 roadster?

See post #28 in the "Sad Pictures" thread- a guy turned his wrecker into a roadster. Then into a wreck.

Re: 60 to 66 roadster?

Cut the hole big and go with a sliding Rag top like Dino did in his Crew Cab. I personally wouldn't take the top completely off.

Re: 60 to 66 roadster?

the one with the hood molded into the firewall is freakin awesome, makes me want to do that to mine; lol. I need a shop truck though, not a roadster just yet.
