1991 S10 Durango..seeking info

Greetings! Long time lurker on the board..first time poster.

I am searching for information on 1991 chevy s10s with the durango package. I owned one of these before it was t boned by a drunk driver and totaled. I've looked all over the web and can't find out anything about the production of these. Every search you do turns up things about the dodge durango.

Mine was a 1991 model. It was white with the durango stickers down the bedsides. It also had the large chevy and bowtie emblem on the tailgate. All the ones that I have ever seen (last one was years ago...mine was wrecked in 1995) had the black plastic grill, black fender flares, and all that I have personally seen were 5 speeds. I'm sure that 1991 was the last (and maybe only) year for this kind of trim because I've never seen one with headrests(1992).

They had the plastic door panels and floor and were not as nice as the tahoes of course. If anyone has any pics of these or info about production numbers or anything I would appreciate it.

I'm pretty sure the Durango was just a trim package. I do have the 1991 S10 Sales Brochure with it in it... I'll have to dig it out.

They had the Durango package in the eariler (pre-86) years as well... under the S10 symbol and on the glove box, it had a long horn - this is a picture of the badge on our 83:

i also had an 83 Durango. cloth seats rubber mat in the floor. like a scottsdale. same sweet longhorn emblem on mine

I know this is old thread, but I also had a 91 S-10 Durango. It had a 4.3, auto, 4x4 with 235/75/15s on it. It was fast as hell and just as much fun. I do miss that truck.
