Re: painted rally wheels

Painted rally wheels look good. I did mine in a bronze color and did my center caps and trim rings white.

Looks great! Powdercoated mine in Rally charcoal silver. Haven't had time to install the rear end and decide which trim ring I am going to use.

Re: painted rally wheels

The thinner late model truck trim rings show off more of the wheels detail; the thicker rings 'hide' more.

IMO the 3" (wide) rings hide too much of the color. With the center cap the the wide ring it looks like a small band of color.
They look good on a standard color rally but kind of defeat the purpose of painting the wheels.

I have red rally's on my K5 and took the rings off because they covered too much.
My girlfriends dad had steelies with "baby moons" on her truck and had these little tiny rings that couldn't have been more than 1" - 1-1/2" wide.
If they would fit on rally's I would buy some but haven't had the cance to look into them yet.

my vote ;;use the ones that show off the wheel more, also makes the truck look cool going down the road. the thinner chrome ring is my choice. "nuff said " :Chevy:
