How to lay frame while running rally wheels?
Hey guys. Im sure that this has been asked before. I was looking at drop members and 4 link kits. They are pretty pricey. Are they really necessary to lay frame on a truck that will be running 15x8 rallys with 235/75 -255/75 tires? I haven't decided on the tire size yet. Id appreciate any input. Thanks

Can`t you just leave the springs out?

You need to search around in the "suspension section". Type in "laying frame". The design of the front suspension keeps these trucks from laying out. So a Dropmember or frame "Z",... and a combination of things is neccessary.

Weld another frame underneath the one you already have

Dont put wheels on and drive on the rotors and drums...
Go to the suspension section and do a search you will find lots of info there.. good luck!!!

Re: How to lay frame while running rally wheels?
Leaving the springs out won't enable you to lay frame either ... you will need to replace or modify the front cross member in order to get the frame rails on terra firma.
