Task Force Seat question
Im thinking about replacing the old rotten bench with late model tahoe, escalade, etc.. middle row seats. Iv herd them mentioned on here before but couldnt find any threads. A guy is selling on craigs what he says is 07 tahoe second row 70/30 black vinyl seat. It looks to be a reall good deal but how do they fit?

Re: Task Force Seat question
It should fit nicely. I have one in my 72. The 72 is a bit wider than the 55-9 seat but the tahoe is abit shorter than a 72. Your going have to Fab some brackets but its well worth the effort.

Re: Task Force Seat question
The buckle part of the belt is attached to the seat. If you can, get the part that bolts to the floor. I just use a lap belt now but I am going to get a 3 point some time in the near future

Re: Task Force Seat question
So where are the pics? I was told there would be pics. Are the pics here now? I'd really like to see pics. How come there is no pics? Wasn't there supposed to be pics? People really shouldn't say there's going to be pics if there's really not going to be, this is very disturbing.

Re: Task Force Seat question
Quote:
2)Im not sure because I havent started working on it yet but Ill probably have to rid of the metal bracketry the seats bolt to and fab shorter brackets so the seats sit lower and tucked back in the cab more. 3) Umm not sure, but Im thinking about just making the seat brackets bolt into the original Task force cab mounts. 70/30 is the ratio of the seat. The little seat on the passenger side takes up 30% the driver side takes up 70% |

Re: Task Force Seat question
FWIW I used third row Yukon seats with the shoulder belts built into the seat. I had to fab my seat frame so it was 5" off the cab floor. Look at my build thread for details. My brackets use the stock mounting points. I made them so I could adjust the seat tilt.
