lol exactly. He probably hopes someone will call and offer him 100k or something.

Sheesh...if you are selling something, post a price!! Whenever I run across something with no price, I stop bothering with it.

That is a lot of money, but honestly I expected him to be asking a LOT more. Kudos for him for not being totally insane, it is just possible someone will buy it at that price.

Low miles is one thing, aging is another. It`s not exactly a "like new" truck like a mechanically restored truck is.I guess a museum won`t care.

Good Work Joe!

I would pay 10K for it if it's as nice as it looks. No A/C and the jumbo West-Coast mirrors hurt it.

At first glance I thought it was all white but now I notice the Grapefruit Yellow color, NICE!

Re: 1972 27,000 mile truck (Not Mine)

Not trying to start an argument, just would like opinons. When it comes to these trucks is milage really a selling point if its not documented? I know a guy with a nice 69 4x4 he's owned since new with 72,000 on odometer but actually 372,000 with 2 engine rebuilds. Maybe it's just me but as old as these trucks are I just find it hard to believe there are very many with less than 100,000 miles on them.

Re: 1972 27,000 mile truck (Not Mine)

Zeke,

I owned a '72 SWB 4x4 from Anaconda, MT that had 36,000 original miles, always garaged with original paint, etc. The truck looked and drove like a 2-year-old well cared for truck. No wind noise, perfectly-closing doors, etc. made the truck fun. There are others like me that value the stone-stock/original look and feel.

If this truck is what it is advertised/appears to be I would consider it a very appealing survivor. Often with the "survivor" trucks you have to deal with things like big mirrors and no A/C, but remember "They are only original ONCE". Many people on this board could assemble a truck with the most appealing options and would look incredible. Survivor trucks often aren't as cosmetically appealing but are novel due to the low-miles and excellent care.

JMHO!
