Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

Has anyone had a problem with their delivery of their wheels after purchasing them??? The salesman told me 7-10 business days before delivery.Well i`m going on day 11, i called them and left a message as well as emailed them.. I bought these wheels when i was in ocean city maryland for the car cruise in mid may and paid 2200.00 for a set of 18s in the front and 20s in the rear.. The truck is lowered 4 1/2 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear, it should look awesome with the C5 wheels.. But i`m pretty upset they dont return a call or email you back to give you a status on the delivery...

thanks
pat

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

I've heard some people say they waited much longer than 7-10 days (like 4-6 weeks), but why aren't they answering the phone??

I've heard both good and bad things about the delivery time.

Just tried calling again and nothing but a answering machine. If i dont hear anything from them by the end of the week as far as a status i`ll be filing a claim on my CC from them and i hope it doesnt come to the point where i`ll be getting my money back and have to go with another company for wheels.. The salesman said he like to have a pic of the truck with the wheels on and i doubt i`ll be giving them the pleasure if i ever get them...

thanks

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

mine took a couple of days longer than i thought they should have, but no major problem.

just a tip...make sure they clear the center hub on your rotor when you put them on. I had to grind the rotor just a little bit to get them to fit. i would recommend insstalling them with the front center caps off the wheels, then you can tell if there is interference when you put the cap on.

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

My wheels took longer to get because they were out of stock on my rear wheels. I didnt have a problem getting in touch with them. Keep trying they should give you a delivery date.

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

I had the same problem about a year and a half ago when I ordered my 18s. I was told by the salesman that I would have my wheels in 1-2 weeks. After about a week and a half I called to check the order status and spoke to the same salesman and got some "they're shipping out today" bs. I finally ended up getting some help when I spoke to someone at coys that was not a son of the owner. It ended up taking about 6 weeks from the time I placed the order to get them. I hope you get yours faster than I got mine because I'm ready to see some pics

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

I personally think their lack of personal sales skills is as pathetic as they come.He told me he was about to call me "yeah right you think i`m that dumb??" And said he would either email me or call me the status. Well i now know and will tell everyone to go elsewhere and buy some other brand wheel cause it sure seems these idiots cant sell a wheel correctly to please the willing.. I`m so tempted to write to the BBB on them if you got a problem with the shipping you call the customer and explain. If you set a timetable you forfill it to keep the customer happy as well as the good word. I`ll post pics of them here but you bet i wont send them anything after the BS i`m going thru with these retards...

thanks
pat

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

The sad part is they don't care. They are shipping so many sets of tires and wheels, they really don't care about service.

Once the trend dies down and folks start ordering from other suppliers they might wake up....probably not...

Since their last price increase, its worth it to just order from a reputable company.
Saving a few bucks is not worth the hassle.

Arrow Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

I looked at some of the wheels they had on display when they were at Daytona last Nov. and i have to say that there wheels are very heavy too heavy if you ask me and then when i spoke too one of the salesman about prices and such he acted like i was bothering him.

Needless to say i didn't buy any of there wheels and now im glad i didn't after seeing this post.

Well good luck i hope you get them soon

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

I guess i got no choice but to wait.I rather wait then go thru the hassle n lose a chance to get these wheels.. Besides my truck isnt ready for a set right now but i had a strong urge to get them while i was at a car show in maryland in may and couldn`t resist.. It just sucks when they know they got you by the groin cause if you want their products and you already paid the ball is in their court. But next time when i am looking for my next project i WILL be going elsewhere for the wheels i want..

thanks
pat

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

it ended up taking around 2 1/2 weeks for them to get me mine...i also bought the wheels mounted and balanced, so all i had to do was bolt them on

i've had no problems with mine what so ever, they went on like butter

i only paid 2000 shipped for all four of my 20's though, with tires, and the rear's were 20x10's

Re: Has anyone had a problem with Coy's

They do a ton of business out in this area. (They are from here) And, I have heard mixed reviews about them. But, I decided after talking to them at a local meet back when I was into Volkswagen & Audi stuff that I would not buy from somebody who was so pigheaded & arrogant. But, their wheels do look great and they seem to hold up well.
