tailgate skin/rollpan combo

im looking for a tailgate skin/rollpan combo so that i can weld up the rear of my 71 chevy. i would like to get the combo so that i wouldnt have to weld up the seam between the tailgate and rollpan. im just wondering if anybody has seen one or heard of one in production. if not ill have to fab some stuff up. thanks

how did he get all the skin to be flush and not recessed because the lights and tailgate are recessed in?

he bought the truck as it is there, just got a flat smooth tail gat cover/skin and flat steel ti fill the tail lights as far as i know

it'd be pretty straightforward to weld a piece of metal on the tailgate and then bondo it until it was smooth, my friend just did something like it on his Honda Prelude, it had a license plate bracket in the trunklid, he smoothed it out and relocated it, it's pretty trick and sweet looking.
