4X4 oil stick
I believe I've seen reference to a different oil dip stick housing and stick for 4X4's. If this animal exist could someone post a pic? Also is there a source for these aftermarket or OEM?
Asking for my 71 K20. My engine isn't original and checking the oil is a real pain as you have to reach over and behind the brake master cylinder. Thanks,,,

Re: 4X4 oil stick
I had one on a newer truck (77) that had the dipstick in the same place. It was a pain. I am thinking it is the same as the 2wheel drive. Easiest is to find one and compare them.

Re: 4X4 oil stick
My OEM dipstick is longer and curves towards the front of the truck. The tube is nearly horizontal at the top end -- easy access. Sorry, no pics...

Thanks guys!
Anyone else? Maybe a 'what fits what' that you may have swapped over. Thanks again...
