Re: Mirrors: painted, black or chrome dumbo?

What did you get? Dumbos, or ones like on the red truck you posted? I like the dumbos myself, either polished up or painted body color.

Add me to the no black wheel club too.

I got a set of power mirrors like the red truck has, they seem really big when you hold them up to the door? I think I'm going to use dumbo's, truck was painted today so it should be done by Friday/Saturday and I dont have any holes for mirrors now so if the power mirrors dont sell before then I'll see how they look.

Re: Mirrors: painted, black or chrome dumbo?

I want to clarify my statement from earlier on. When I said paint the dumbo mirrors...I meant body color. But, then I thought maybe the black. After seeing them black, I think chrome or body color. On your truck, I think body color dumbo mirrors would look killer at least in my head.

Re: Mirrors: painted, black or chrome dumbo?

What if you painted the inner part of the mirror that is above the window line black . Paint the rest body color so they would look like they have a rise to them and arent so big . I blacked out the portion I am talking about and I think it would give a nice look if it was painted black in this area . I would do it front and back so the mirror has some dimension to it when you look at the truck . The idea of power mirrors adds a level of class to the truck ..

Damn Frank there you go making me think and second guess selling them I think thats a great idea, with tinted windows it will help hide some of the bulkyness (is that a word ha?) I think I'll give it a shot
