1972 GMC 1/2 ton parts truck Alberta/NT
For sale
1972 GMC 1/2 ton parts truck. I would like to sell as a whole but will part out if I do not get any interest as a whole (what's left) truck. I bought this truck locally to use the 1/2 ton frame with disk brakes and 5 bolt wheels to use with the 70 GMC 3/4 ton body. Asking $500 for the whole truck. The blue hood does not go with it as this is the hood off of my dad's 71 that he bought new. It was damaged by hail in the 70's but kept. $300 for the cab, with doors $150 for the right hand door $300 for rear end and front suspension The truck has no engine or transmission, but was V8 with an automatic. The truck is currently located in Fort Smith NT, but here is the deal. I am driving out to Leduc AB (just south of Edmonton) on July 1st and will deliver parts along the way (Hay River, High Level, Peace River, Valleyview, Whitecourt, (or divert throught Slave Lake/Athabasca) Edmonton). Or the truck/parts could be picked up near Leduc during the first two weeks of July. Please respond in the thread. I can take more pictures if needed as the truck is in my back yard ( and the wife says it shouldn't be!). Please ask if you have questions. I am also posting a 70 GMC 3/4 ton parts truck.

At 110 degree heat indexes in Missouri, I wish I was in the NW Territories just for the cool air!
Those look like nice parts trucks and if for any reason you wind up not selling the dark green 1/2 ton I would love to purchase the door panels and the seat belts for my teenage daughters project we are putting together. Keep me in mind! Tim |

Does the 1972 have a glove box door with the SPID sticker on it.
I am looking for one from the Oshawa plant from 1972. Thanks.

I'll check in the morning. Still light out and will be for most of the night, but it's raining!

Re: 1972 GMC 1/2 ton parts truck Alberta/NT
The truck is sitting outside and winter has arrived so removing parts is probably not going to work until next April when the snow disappears.
If someone is interested in the whole truck please let me know soon so I can tow it out of the yard before we get a big dump of snow. Again I am hoping to drive to Edmonton the last week of November and can deliver for next to nothing into Northern Alberta.
