Question Shift question

Is the transfer case shifter suppose to be in forward or backward position for four wheel drive to be engaged in a 73 blazer? 

Re: Shift question

It should be full time four wheel drive, unless someone swapped out the transfer case. Back toward the seat is four wheel hi, which you should use for street driving. All the way forward for low range, use if you need a little extra grunt, but do not exceed 30 MPH. This is in the wrong forum, maybe a mod can move it to the drivetrain section, we will get more opinions. Welcome to the site to, BTW.
