wheel bearing question
i recentlty converted my truck to disc brakes in the front and the right brake is sticking on somehow.
so i took the tire off and the disc wobbles a little bit. i bought new wheel bearings when i started the conversion, this doesnt make sense... the wheel bearings shouldnt be a problem should they? i also bought new calipers

did you check if the bearings were seated correctly?

well the bearings should be fine if you preloaded them correctly. i did the same swap on mine and had a bit of trouble positioning the rotor on the spindle correctly. all i did was lube the spindle up with some grease.

I would take it completely apart on that side. Clean the grease out and be absolutely sure that the races are fully seated. It is possible that they aren't or at least weren't when you put it together. But I definately wouldn't "just tighten it up" w/o inspecting it.

are the nuts too tight and wore the bearing out prematurely?
i know i did that and it was HELL gettin old bearing out of rotor lol

the rotors are new and its only doing it on the drivers side, but the races in the rotors looked fully seated when i put them on, i will check again tommorow. thanks for the advice and tips

Try switching sides with the rotors. That should tell you if its a warped rotor or something with the bearing or spindle.
