this is cool! 61C60 lorider

I don't know how many times I have photo chopped 60 series trucks to lower them ,because I love the look of the big front end, wheels , and running boards....
then I see this for sale on the H.A.M.B. .........

It's a 2 ton c60 grain truck cab sitting on a one ton dually frame, straight 6 still powering her, with the orgional 4 speed. The bed is off a 72 GMC 2 ton grain truck.

That is really cool! I can only imagine the work it took in getting all that together. It ended up with an amazing result.

I'm wondering how those cut down diesel wheels would look on that...(maybe with just a bit more sidewall in the rear..)

That would look sick...There are a few guys in town runnings machined 10 lugs....I think they look sick !!!

A few on lifted Super dutys, Duramax's amd some dumped trucks as well...

Re: this is cool! 61C60 lorider

Thanks guys, My mother inlaw was building a 64 short bed chevy, she bought a 64 dually parts truck for the doors and a few parts, I thouht it was too good of running truck to just junk...then I remembered a 2 ton grain truck sitting with a great cab on it... a few days of welding and cutting and and 3 weeks later it was done, yes 3 weeks it was painted! I would like to bag her in the front a little low at times, just have to watch the fast turns! I havnt changed the 6 banger, and the rear end is pretty low geared so 55 MPH is turning some high rpms, but it a eye catcher thats for sure, along with that I installed a Air Powered TRAIN whistle and 2 Semi air horns under the hood for fun...and they are LOUD...lol. It's a fun ride thats for sure! And yes we are running the front rims with the most offset we could get to fill those big front fenders out best we could, the dually wheels wrap the hub and look like they were really under the truck too far. Im thinking about taking the 400sb out of a 72 caprice and dumping it in this if I dont sell it first!
