Re: rally caps ???

Those are my favorite centers! I may be wrong but those centers only came on a few trucks and vans in the mid 70's. I found a NOS set on ebay about 4 years ago for $40.(steal) I had them on my old 91 burb for two years before the pitted up. I've been trying to find another set since. I found one set at a swap meet but the guy wanted $150 for em. I had to pass on that. I wish someone would start making them again. They bolt on from the back so you don't see those ugly bolts on the outside. I still have them for my 86 project. I dont have any good pics of them but you can see them here.

Re: rally caps ???

They remind me of late model S-10 caps, very nice looking.

Re: rally caps ???

The cap you have pictured was the Rally cap used untill 1977 . After that they changed the cap to the style that everyone is used to . The skinny cap that bolts on from the rear is correct for the two 77's I have that came with rallys . They both have them on right now . They are hard to find and I rarely see them for sale . I would buy a set of NOS caps if I came across them . The later style used from 78 and up ( I think this is the correct year break )has become the accepted cap since these early caps arent as plentiful .

Re: rally caps ???

The chrome usally flakes off of the old style caps, that's why they're all gone. I had a set, and I had painted them silver just to look decent.
They give it a Mopar kinda look IMO.
