I've been to Columbus all 12 years it has been here now. There are a lot of places to meet up, but to get any large number of vehicles together they would probably have to be way out in the main parking lot. Sunday is the easiest day to find a lot of spaces together. If Saturday is a nice day, forget about it. People start lining their cars up at 4:00 AM to get the spot they want. The gates open when cars start to get backed up to the highway, usually way before the show opens to the public. The problem is Goodguys will not allow you to hold spots for people until after 10:00 AM, and the good spots are usually taken by then. For those on a budget, you can go to the fairgrounds on Thursday and hang out at registration and see a fair portion of the cars that will be there. Also on Thursday and Friday night there are a lot of nice cars at the host hotel and surrounding hotels. All of that is free. But yeah, a phone number list of attendees would be nice, or a location to meet up and make future plans during the show.

Re: Good Guy pics...Columbus Ohio
I didn't know that was a Blazer (pictured above) - thought it was a panel...didn't really think about the length while I was looking at it...duh.
I did snag a few pix that I keep forgetting to unload and post up here. I keep trying to get my Dad's truck in primer so I can get some color on it before the end of the month. Did anybody get any shots of the underside of that truck pictured above? Curious to know if they got rid of the torsion boxes when they went to a panel type body... As my GF and I arrived on Saturday at 7 something - she wondered why people were in chairs along 17th - I told her for the free show as the parade of cars several miles long drove by... |

What a cool Blazer panel. First one I've ever seen done that way.
It has an aero hood with a 69-70 grill. I didn't know that was possible. Very sweet!!! |

Re: Good Guy pics...Columbus Ohio
thats a shortened panel...or at least, more panel than blazer. Doesn't even have a removable top.
