Re: fuel line question
My experience has been that the line will continue to siphon gas from the tank. I've always just loosened the line nut at the tank to let in a little air and break the siphon. This assumes you have an in cab tank.

Re: fuel line question
Removed mine with no problem when replacing my tank. The tank was full of rust though and the sock on the sender was varnished over. When removing I always crack the nut and see what happens.

Re: fuel line question
Pinch the hose lightly with vice grips to occlude it.

Re: fuel line question
Head of a spark plug in a rubber hose works for me.
