Re: 4x4's and 1/4 mile times

I cant wait for it to get in. Ive been sourcing parts for 2 years. The engine is at the machine shop getting custom length pushrods in it. I broke my length check tool because the springs are way tight. Then there going to dyno it for me. Im hoping for 550 hp!

Should run a decent 1/4 mile time!

Re: 4x4's and 1/4 mile times

ive had alot of questions answered on here about my buildup and problems with it. I will be posting the dyno sheet. I havent really taken any pics during the build, mainly id hate for yal to see my "engine room". But the motor should be a kick in the pants. I got a custom built t400 and a 205 for it too. The only thing i need is a set of large tube headers. the only ones i can find are 2" hooker super comps. Regular headers wont cover my ports on the aluminum heads.

Re: 4x4's and 1/4 mile times

I'm going to eventually build a motor, but i have heard of a blown 572 in a blazer for pretty. So i may go that route and swap motor for the blazer more offroad friendly a stock 350 and my white truck would become a mud drager and not road friendly.

Re: 4x4's and 1/4 mile times

I used to go to illegal drag races all the time and the most memorable 4x4 was a yota with a 350 that killed a 5.0 mustang. saw this and thought of you guys

Re: 4x4's and 1/4 mile times

I just bought an 01 RCSB 4x4 from a guy who swapped in a 6.0L. His best time last season was a 12.7.
