Like a hole in my head...

Well, the title says it all... I need this like another hole in my head! I recently ended up with this blazer carcass and rolling chassis that we did a ton of sheet metal repair to a couple years back. The project had changed owners once in between, and now it's mine. We replaced the entire front floor sections, rocker boxes, inner and outer rocker panels, lower A pillars, doors, installed some fleet-side outer bed-side skins (still not completed), and repaired many other misc. areas. We shaved the firewall, and installed a DropmemberC4 in the front. Plans for this are simple: Finish the sheet-metal repairs; chop and cap the doors; lay the windshield frame back; fabricate and install custom dash and console; install rear notch and four-link suspension, clean up the surface rust... and SELL it!

Intentions are to work on it a few hours here, and a few hours there... when I need a little break from building cool stuff for everybody else! So I will give a big disclaimer that updates and progress will not be a regular thing. But hopefully I can find at least a couple hours a week!

Here's what the original concept looked like:

And here's what it looks like in its current form:

Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun work! Look forward to seeing progress!

Re: Like a hole in my head...

Been too busy building parts, and working on customer projects. I am throwing together a 66 Big Window before this one. I plan on driving the 66 back to Colombus in July. This one will get worked on after that (hopefully )

Well, I had planned on taking it to the "roller" state. All suspension and fabrication done on the chassis, and all the sheet-metal done as rendered... and then sell it. We'll see how it goes, and where it ends up!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
