Re: need pictures
here is a set of the alternator brackets on Ebay for the short water pump big block that are correct for what you need (not mine)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/67-72...Q5fAccessories I do not have any pictures of the power steering.. hopefully another member will chime in with some.. |

Re: need pictures
Your kind of on your own there due the 396 not being stock, it could be most any combination of bracketry.
I'd do a web search looking at big block chevy info and decide from there what your running and what you might need to make it work. |

Re: need pictures
What you need is a set of brackets and pulleys for any 65-68 car with bb or pickups thru 72. All used the short water pump set up. 72 trucks actually had a 1 year only upper alternator bracket which is HARD to find! But the 71 and older trucks and 65-68 car upper bracket will work fine and be easy to find, new or used. I will try to get some pics up of the setup on the engine. Short water pump bb also used the remote p.s. reservoir.

Re: need pictures
I think that is a long pump.
I forgot we were talking about a BB. I have no idea. Last edited by LOW DOUGH; 07-24-2009 at 05:21 PM. |
