Is a 2wd blazer worth as much as a 4wd converted to a 2wd?
I'm looking to buy a 2wd 1970-1972 blazer. I'm finding more 4wd converted to a 2wd but they want the same amount for a true 2wd blazer in about the same condition. There were a lot less 2wd blazers made so my thinking the 4wd conversions should be less. I don't to loose my butt buying a 4wd converted to a 2wd. so is there a big difference in value between the both.

Factory 2wd are generally worth more than conversions, but there are so few factory 2wds that I think good conversions have increased in value. If you're primary concern is value, keep to a true 2wd.

A converted one in the same codition should be less.

for me it depends what you want to do if you are going to bag it, change front end, (67 nose job) cut up doors to put in sounds it doesn't matter if its been converted
but if you could find a true 2wd it should be worth a little more. |
