Pinion Angle on one piece drive shaft
I bought a new set axle saddle from ECE, to install on my newer 12 bolt that has 5 bolt pattern and larger brakes. My question being what should the pinion angle be on the rear. My truck is lowered with a 6in spring in the rear and has a one piece drive shaft. With the truck on a flat surface my trans has a 4 degree angle. Should I put the rear at the same 4 degree angle. This is what the guys at ECE said to do, are they right. This sounds strange. I have a trailing arm rear. Please help. Would like some input.
Thanks

at ride height what ever the angle of the tranny is, is the angle you want the rear end, this way it cancels out and keeps the u joint turning.

The pinion angle should be the same as the angle of the engine/transmission.
