removing body side molding clips
what is the easiest way to get these clips off the side? im trying to get all the clips off and get everything ready to get the sheet metal straight

The clips have a nut on the back of them, similar to the nut on a emblem.
you could remove the nut and the clip will then fall off, I guess you could also grind the surface of the clip to remove it and push the remainder through the hole.

either way works fine, I'd try to save them as you'll need them later.. that is if you dont buy new trim kits

You need to take off your inner fenders to access the nuts to remove the clips on the front fenders. You need to remove the inside door panels to access the nuts on those.

I ground mine off. The bolts were rusted on the inside. I dont plan on putting the trim back.

I didn't have to take the door panel off on mine. They had a screw in the front, a nut in the back and stick on's in the middle.

vegas, if you are going to just toss them and don't destroy them taking them off, I would be interested in them. Can't ever have enough little parts as spares. Trevor
