Bagging my 68 Stepper

OK guys, just like many of us, I am building my truck one step at a time. I have a 68 stepside, drums all around, 6 lug. My question is, can I go ahead and bag the truck without changing the spindles, etc? FUTURE plans will be to convert to disc brakes on the front and also drop spindles. But that will come as money comes in.

Right now, I have my bags, brackets, fittings, air line, and schrader valves. I can put them in and have a manual setup to get that lowered stance. I just want to make sure I won't have or cause any problems by running stock spindles and drum brakes.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Bagging my 68 Stepper

Other than relying on archaic drum brakes to stop, you should be fine.

Re: Bagging my 68 Stepper

Cool, thanks. I had the drums all checked and maintained when I bought it.... back when it was just going to be a "work" truck. Now its stripped to bare metal and getting bags....

Funny how that works....

Thanks again!
