Need a New Battery
I possible going to need a new battery. I battery on it is a GM goodwrench type, it looks new but it don't want to create a cycle of replacing the battery. The better look is the black gm type but the Optima performs well. Maybe I just have a bad cell. What do you all have?

Re: Need a New Battery
I hear ya about the "look", I'm that way to but I am all wrapped up in the whole "gotta look stock" sickness.
If you have the money, and are not all that into the look. I'd go for the Optima. For me, I use a local made battery that I order in all black.

Re: Need a New Battery
Unless you drive at least every other week I would not suggest any dry cell battery such as optima. I have a yellow top and a red top in my off road rigs and even with a battery disconnect they do not hold a charge past a month if they are not used. They also do not charge as easy a liquid battery. The dry cell needs to be trickle charged at 1-2 amps for 24 hours to hold a decent charge. If you only take out the truck every once and a while I would stay away from the dry cell.
