Is it possible to remove a bench seat cover without destroying it so it can be used again?

I have a line on a perfect dark green bench seat with the scroll pattern, but I would rather have a black cover. If the cover is removable Id like to be able to sell it to help recoup my cost in the seat.

This is not a for sale or whats it worth thread (if it does happen you can read about it in the classifieds), just asking a question and explaining what I'm thinking about.

Not sure, but if it were a pattern I wanted that no one sold repro for my upholstry guy to copy from I'd buy it.
But if it was a regular catalog item, I'd pass unless it was cheap if not free.

yes they are normally pretty easy to remove// with the seat out you need to remove the hog rings , i use 2needle nose to grab annd straighten to slip them out or you can use sidecutters to cut. remove all rings and the cover should slip off

noy much if any value in used seatcover unless very rare piece

No idea if its rare or not. But it is darn near like new and could save someone some bucks. Ive taken covers off before, but they were so torn up already I pretty much just tore them off and went back and removed any old hog rings off the seat later.
