Re: Best deal on truck/parts you missed!

Back in 90 my neighbor had an old GTO convertable that had a severe patina look to it but it was solid. Had The Judge stickers on it never looked to check if it was real being 16 just thought it was cool looking he wanted 1900 for it and I wanted it for my first car had the cas and the cash for a paint job but my parents would not let me buy it because it was too old.

Re: Best deal on truck/parts you missed!

I missed out on a few deals over the years that would make me debt free if I were able to of gotten them back then and sold them today.

1. A 1958 Corvette project car. Was in very good shape and even came with an extra set of doors and front fenders. Didn't run but still. $2,000 back in 1998

2. A 1961 Corvette project car. No engine or trans but the rest was pretty much all there. $800 o.b.o back in 1999

3. The one I wish I would have gotten the most. A 69 or 70 (cant remember exactly) Pontiac GTO Judge. It was the factory yellowish orange with the pink pinstripping. Just like the one in the movies Dazed and confused, and Two lane blacktop. This thing was a gorgeous original survivor, good enough it didn't technically need restoring. I really wanted it but didn't have all the money. It was $4,500 back in 1999 but would propably go for $45,000-$60,000 today, restored they go for about $125,000 all day.
