Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build

I just stumbled onto this thread, and I have to say. Great job on the truck, and involving your family.

Definitely dig the exhaust, and the attention to detail. Along with your and your partners mind set of, "Let's try this. If it doesn't work, we'll fix it." It's awesome.

And definitley get those girls some pinstriping brushes. haha

-Sam.

Not much progress on the truck. Just driving the wheels off it.
Took Darrah out for some pizza last night. Picture turned out good for a phone.

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build

Man your truck is sweet! And its super cool your girls are going to start pinstriping. I started about 6 months ago and I love it. One thing I would recomend when just begining is to not even fool around with a Mack or anything like that. Go straight to a Kafka Scroll series #3. That brush is amazing. I started with a Mack 00 and it was nice but I was blown away using that scroller, even for old school designs and spider webs! Post pics of thier art!
cheers.

Doesn't everyone? I always park where I think I'll be able to see my truck. One day at Cracker Barrel I looked outside and noticed someone taking a picture of my daily driver S10.

I don't know but I mentioned it in my thread and nobody spoke up. It's like nobody wanted to admit the addiction. .........

I gave my 1973 Plymouth Satellite to my oldest boy. I drove it to a Golden Corral about 10 years ago and 2 workers walked up to the window beside me and one of them said, "man what is it?" and the other said " I don't know but it's a chevy!!! "

Anyway, I see 4D has the bug too!

Re: 4D'S "63" GMC Build

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Sorry for no new post, November is a hard and depressing month for the family.

Did get some good pictures of Darrah posing with the truck and worked on trying my luck with painting some 60-62 emblems.

Still saving some money up and getting closer to sending the truck off to the body shop, since Alan won't come and get it.
