i also have the 1 on my truck that is good driver shape . it has trim holes and 3 or 4 small rust holes inside bed. i will take what i paid for it plus what i have put in it witch is $850.00 without tailgate. and i will fix the other one and use it on my truck.

the ft. on the $650.00 bed needs replaced i have another one to go with it i will try to get pic.s monday.

If prices are still as they were a couple of years ago for a really really nice rust free almost perfect bed was over $1000, but they usually sell pretty quickly on here. Anymore you are almost better off going with reproduction bedsides if you are wanting pretty much show condition. GM fits the best and there's a reason why it demands the price, but I hear repro. bedsides fit pretty good. Either way, every bed is going to need some work just fyi. ttt for ya. Trevor

Yes sir I hear ya.... I understand a good bed is hard to find and understand the costs involved with good parts. I have restored several trucks over the years and recently a 71 which i went the repop way. The side while they fit good are not the quality I want they are flimsy. Thanks for the heads up but believe you me I fully understand what I am getting into

Sorry, I re-read what I posted and it did come off as I was being rude, sorry about that. Though, sometimes people don't understand what it takes to get good parts for vintage rides. Good to know about the re-pop sides, for future reference. I have 3 short beds out in the barn right now, one is about junk, another I got for free from here (thanks Brady

), and the one that's in pieces for my blue/white truck. I bought just the Texas rust free sides from Randy(teeitup) about 7-8 years ago for $400. That wasn't including a bedfloor. When it is all said and done, I will have about $600 in mine, and have to do some minor dent repair with the slide hammer and stud welder on the floor and around the back taillight, but they are rust free and that was years ago prices. There are deals out there, but they are getting harder to run across these areas. Even the swap meet parts that are nice are drying up and repo stuff is almost taken over.
