Which Brake Lines for Front Disk Kit - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Looking to upgrade to front disk brakes. Currently looking at the ECE kit with 2.5" drop spindles.

While I am in there, I was looking to install new brake lines all the way through. Is there a specific brand or set that you would recommend? Are there are line kits that match up with the brake kit? Are the lines the same regardless?

My apologies for the noob questions. Any advice is appreciated in advance.

HI FRANK & this is what I did. I bought the CPP Grand Slam that gave me 2 1/2 drop in the front & a 4" in the back. It also included the conversion from drum to disc. We decided to replace ALL brake lines & started searching. Ended up at: www.inlinetube.com My 67 Chevy LWB cost me very little compared to my searchs!! I have coil springs in the back & my system cost me around $200 for everything. It is located in Shelby township,MI. I live close enough that I drove over to pick up the lines. VERY HAPPY with the results & you can see pics. on my build site = Sitting for 10 years. Howard

Buy the lines from ECE when you buy the brakes and spindles. They have what you need.
