I'm needing a p/n for a taillight pigtail for a 70 gmc. I have been to every part store and nobody has one. Hopefully a p/n will help me out.

I have bought the pigtail/contactor assy's at NAPA. I don't have a part number but surely any parts house with electrical stuff and/or a HELP display will have a part you can use. The pigtails I have bought fit into the socket. But......what you are looking for may not be available w/o buying a new/used taillight bucket ass'y.

I have a new bucket, I have been able to find pigtails that may work, but they will not stay in. Is there a rubber boot or something that hold everything together?

There are a number of vendors on this site who can better answer your question, but for the sake of just seeing how they look, check out an LMC catalog on-line.
