Don't ya love it when things like this just fall in your lap? That is pretty much how I came upon my Jimmy. A friend knew I had the Sub and asked if I be interested in looking at the Jimmy. The rest is history.

Re: Now I've done it... New project begins

I scored a little better than I thought. The PO is going to let me leave it in his yard as long as I want and will still move it for me when I need to. He's given me keys to the gate and permission to work on it whenever I want. WOW...

I did decide to check it out a little closer and lo and behold it's got a brand new NOS wire harness! I went ahead and brought all the loose parts home to go through them and I've got lots of moldings (including some nice hood trim and fender eye stainless) I pulled the auto/tilt column and wheel and the gauge cluster and they both look pretty nice. The tailgate is great as well. I also took a closer look at the top and it is in great shape except for the missing side windows.

I think I'm just going to clean it up and put an axle under the front so it will roll and then bring it home. I'm getting a little stoked...
