Ditto. I ALWAYS drop the gate when I'm loading heavy things that are on wheels. While the gate on there now is far from perfect, driving stuff up and down on ramps with it down hasn't added to the marks on it.

I do have a nice gate in the shop that will be looked at carefully after it gets painted and installed but I don't have this truck simply because it looks nice. It is still a truck and I need to use it often.

Well if your still worried about your gate we could switch trucks for awhile and you could use mine.
