My new 1406 carb came in today! Man let me say compared to that old tired Q-jet my truck feels like it's got some power! LOL

I went from a Quadrajet to a 1406, and lost a bit of power actually. But the truck ran and started 10x as good. That was when the 1406 was box-stock. Then i bought a set of Edelbrock PN 1455 metering rods, and made it 6% richer. It now has the same if not more power than the Quadrajet, but runs sooo much beter.
