1996 Z28 rear end

I have a friend that is parting out a '96 Z28, it has disc brakes and all the bells and whistles that come with it. I know that it has a 5X4 3/4 lug pattern. But my question is, is this rear end the same length as the rear in one of our trucks? And has anyone ever used one before?

Thank you,

Brandon

Re: 1996 Z28 rear end

It might be right for one of the earlier trucks but may be a bit narrow for the 67/72 series unless you are running some wide rims and fat tires. Great trading material though. If you weren't at the far end of the world I'd be figuring out how to trade you out of it.

Re: 1996 Z28 rear end

These rearends are very weak, so don't plan on putting anything powerful in front of it. I have broken one with a stock LS1/T56.
