Re: Hammer and Dolly?
Kudos to you Mike for your effort.
![]() Now, I simply "expect" MY work to EXCEED the Manu'f "expectations" We all have seen their "work". MAIN reason why we're in the "restoration" business. ![]() IF they had expected their work to LAST,They would done things differently, BUT, ![]() That would NOT be COST EFFECTIVE. I have the luxury of doing what I feel is "necessary" and time spent on projects where as the Majors have to crank out "X" numbers a day. I would likely do as they do if in the same position. Problem being, A vehicle that lats 30+ years,OH CRAP,WE'RE NOT SELLING ANYTHING...... The "game" HAS changed and the Majors are SEEING what works and what does not. Finally,Thank God,But who wants a Toyota that lasts..... Well,Maybe.... ![]()

Re: Hammer and Dolly?
Eric, nice metal work on the fender. I have a ton of training materials from when I went through school at WyoTech a couple years ago. Now, if I had to call myself a painter or a metal guy...painter it is by far. So that is where my mind primarily thinks from. Hence the fear of the permanent market. I couldn't agree more with you about practice. It is the only real way to learn, and get good at, anything.
