K-20 front drum brake dragging

This just started happening. I did the front wheel brakes about 20, 000 miles ago and all fine. recently the front left is tightening up and dragging getting real hot. I backed it off a bunch and will see what happens

what could cause the brake to adjust too tight ( it has the self adjusters.)

Re: K-20 front drum brake dragging

You could have either a weak or broken adjuster spring, or any of the other springs could be weak causing a chain reaction to the self adjuster being too sensitive?

Also, the spreader star wheel teeth may have rounded off to the point where the adjuster arm can turn it tighter easier than it should.

Also could be a bad wheel cylinder or the hose to that side is swelled shut inside.
