Button down tonneau cover? where do I find?
As the title says im looking fo the kind of tonneau cover that buttons down. I dont want to spend too much I just need somthing to keep the moist leaves out of the wood bed. Ive looked on google and the regular restoration sites and cant find one, I swear I ve seen them for our trucks before.
(I made a thread because my account wont let me search...dont hate ) |

Welcome to the website!
LMC Truck has the snap-style covers, IIRC.

Thats not a bad idea. We have one of the best sail makers here in the gulf. He is 50 and has been doing it since HS and is the only thing he knows how to do. He started making racing sails in California. Business is kind of slow right now for them |

Re: Button down tonneau cover? where do I find?
This is the one I had on my S10. Great cover and fit very tight. I seen them somewhere online for about 100 bucks. No drilling.

Re: Button down tonneau cover? where do I find?
Here's mine. As you can't find a tonneau or hard cover for a Long Narrow Bed I had this done at a local automotive upholstery shop. The made the cover, installed the snaps and even installed the bow anchors for $225. Did a great job!

Re: Button down tonneau cover? where do I find?
Tonneau masters makes a pretty good one for not too much. It has snaps on an aluminum frame that hinges.

I checked with him yesterday and he said that its really hard for them to beat the prices on the big companies. They do sails and boat covers. If you want to say it was made in america well they can do it but it will cost more. He also said that even though most american companies advertise their sails and covers are made in usa there not. Their made in China or South America. Better off buying a premade cover sounds like Last edited by mbgmike; 09-26-2009 at 07:11 PM. |
