Some old pictures dad found....
I just wanted to share these old pics, dad is looking for the rest of them. The first two of the brown one you can see in the background was my ride home from the hospital when I was born. Dad seems to remember it being a 70 model. He said it was pretty plain jane. The last two of the ochre truck was my grandpa's. I remember him letting me drive it around the pasture, like when I was 10. With the camper off of course. Dad didn't remember if it was or not, but doesn't it look like a camper special/Longhorn? The old man is losing it. I can't tell by the pictures. Anyway just thought I would share.

Awesome!
I'm still buggin my pops for pictures with the burb in it, but back in the day he used 35mm slides so it's been slow goin. I love seein pictures like this, since they are of the time when I grew up with these 67-72 trucks.

Doesn't look like a longhorn o me, and looks nothing like the ford camper special.

Your grandpa's camper truck is awesome! Looks like a Longhorn to me, I like the wheels. Thanks.
edit: I wouldn't doubt the Longhorn Man but since you mentioned the Furd, I'm stickin' to my opinion, even though there's no emblem.

Re: Some old pictures dad found....
Thanks for sharing the pictures. It doesn`t get any better than pictures from the era these trucks were new. They were great times in general. The camper is definately an 8-footer and man would I love to have that now.I had it`s close relative in a Chevy.I have pics from 20 years sooner, about 92-93,with my son that he can show like you are some day.I have some back to`88.
Thanks again!!!

Re: Some old pictures dad found....
I really enjoy seeing pictures of these trucks in the days when they were new and used as trucks.
Sorry I don't have any pictures of my own to share with you all, my dad was a F*rd guy, he hauled F*rds and M*rcurys out of the St. Louis area in the old days. Here is one I like that I have seen on here in the past though.
