Anyone Watch Trucks?

I watched Trucks! on Spike this weekend and they had a 87 SWB on there called Miss Misery. It is a 3000 horsepower AWD (yes, all wheel drive) ORSCA 10.5 racer. It was definitely an interesting truck! And I liked it!
Though this may have been an old episode.

Re: Anyone Watch Trucks?

It seems like with 3000 HP it would run faster than a 10.5.

10.5 is the class it runs in, they have to run a 10.5" wide tire.

Re: Anyone Watch Trucks?

Funny, I tried an air dam that low on my truck. It slowed me down! The 4X4 air dam was too low. I could feel the drag on the highway. I noticed the difference as soon as a 4X2 air dam was installed. I wonder if they use it to cover up the AWD underneath?

Re: Anyone Watch Trucks?

I think to get the one piece lights you have to use newer van lights...I'm not 100% on that though....

Re: Anyone Watch Trucks?

I saw it. Thought the truck looked dangerous and cool. I also thought it didn't seem anywhere near it's potential....if it ever gets totally dialed in, I am sure it will be hard to come close to in it's class. His wife is certainly hot for just some dudes wife!

Very cool looking truck. I would love to see it run all the way down the track wide open.
