differetn types of bench seat brackets???
so i went to swap out the seat of my 70 c20 camper specail cst with a seat from my old 71 c10 bare bones swb and low and behold the brackets wont swap from seat to seat[the swb seat was missing slider parts].
the cst bases are like 1-2" taller on the seat side back of the seat[rear upper] portion. is this a cst thing? a lwb swb thing, sbc flat floor bbc high hump thing? the swb seat and the barckets all went in and cleared the hump and everything works fine. search brought nothing but, how do i swap out buckets, new seats and 2nd and 3rd row seat issues. |

Re: differetn types of bench seat brackets???
I believe that the 67-68 seat brackets are different from the 69-72 so it sounds like you had one of the earlier seats.

Re: differetn types of bench seat brackets???
i can pretty much guarentee that the 70 seat is the original.
the swb i can not, it was stacked in the back of my 71 when i got it, i assumed it was the right one only because it matched teh panels and pad. thanks. |
