Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy

fbaker: I have the complete gas pedal assembly $20. It operates the carb with a cable, not a rod like a 70. Manual disc/drum-have booster but probably cheaper to just buy a reman one then shipping this thing.

Do you have the bracket for the z-bar ball that mounts to the block above the oil filter?

bossHogg: This is a manual disc set up, but I have the pedal and linkage if interested

markster5: I don't know how to ship it without it getting damaged. Maybe check with forum members to see if anyone is shuttling parts. Ohio to Florida is common around here especially when it gets nasty.

Ipain: I am keeping everything that pertains to the clutch linkage.

And yes, I accept paypal.

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy

K2Orion: I can do that, do you want the "headlight ring" or the bezel in the grill?

I won't get everything in order until this weekend so I will get back to everyone and give pricing. Once I receive payment I will probably ship everything early next week for round 1 of parting out.

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy

K2orio: How does $10 plus shipping sound?

I WILL GET BACK TO EVERYONE WITH CONCRETE PRICES AND SHIP DATE APPROXIMATIONS THIS WEEKEND. MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT IS SET UP, SO IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF GETTING TIME TO SIT DOWN AND SEND PM'S. THEN I HAVE TO GET TO WORK THIS WEEKEND STRIPPING IT.

Dash pad has a few cracks

Cab has rust above the visors and some patch panels will be taken out of it but willing to sell the title if someone will take this thing when I'm done.

No fan shroud was with the truck when I bought it.

All the parts I have no one wants. And everything that is bad on it is in high demand. Or maybe I am keeping the good stuff???

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy

I am taking patch panels from the cab, including the rear brace and part of the floor. I would sell the cab and title but the junkyard won't take it without a title. I don't want to go through the hassle of cutting up the truck and taking it to a scrap yard, and it won't have a rear axle or front spindles meaning it won't roll. Unless someone wants to drag it up their flat bed, the junkyard is going to do that and get rid of it.

But I'm open to all options if someone wants it and can come up with a solution plus $75 bucks. Free scrap iron with the purchase of a title.
