After putting on my 6 inch lift, i noticed that my parking brake cables are way too short. what are my options to fix this. should i move the bracket and extend the front or intermediate cables?

This question has come up a couple of times or more over the years. I've never seen a conclusive answer. I think someone had said to use the long bed rears. I personally think just having a longer intermediary made would be easier.

When I installed my 6" lift with 14 Bolt rear axle, I reused the parking brake cables that came on the 14 Bolt (connected to the backing plates), and relocated the cable stops that mount to the frame. I moved the cable stops back towards the axle such that they are now located near the front spring eye mounts for the rear leaf springs. I didn't have to change anything else, except for adjusting the stock parking brake shoe out (the semi-circular stamped steel bracket that the the two cables that come from the axle backing plates connect to). Works great.

Do you have any pictures of this? i dont understand how you can adjust the semicircular bracket if its the one im thinking of?
