Info on my trans

On my 77 K10 I have the stock 350 and 4 speed m/t. As I understand based on first gear being the "granny gear" And thus starting out in second most of the time. I think I have the Muncie sm465? If I'm correct can anyone tell me about the trans? I ask because I like to learn new things about cars and trucks especially ones I own. If I'm incorrect can anyone tell me what trans I do have? Also I'm guessing based on running my vin I have the np205 transfer case? Again any info on it would be great. Thanks everyone.

1 3 is my shift pattern in case anyone was curious
2 4 R

The 465 is a good unit. This page will give you a good overview of what you have...

Re: Info on my trans

Same SM465 I have. Good solid tough transmission. Just slow shifting like a school bus.
