Re: Gumby's gettin layed.
That's beyond sick. Are the front tires larger than the rear tires?

Re: Gumby's gettin layed.
x2..... Put the old front skinnies on, get some 8" rears, turn the white-walls in, & pop the hubcaps over the lugs. Everything about that truck says 'old school is still cool' except for the 'new' wheels.
But we all know how opinions go .

Re: Gumby's gettin layed.
Is it me, or do the rear stock wheels look more "forward" vs. centered in the rear wheel well?

The addition of the lowering blocks adds to this effect. This is why some people move the trailing arm crossmember back 1", or add spacers to the trailing arm mounting bracket .

Steelies and hubcaps all the way!!!!! Love the other wheels too but everyone has that type of set-up. The steelies will definately turn heads.

Re: Gumby's gettin layed.
The effect of control arms at drop. The axle moves forward as the vehicle drops. Kinda hard to explain, but it's due to the kink in the trailing arms. If they were straight the wheels would move back at drop. The kink is just a happy medium I suppose.
