Question Bucket seat conversion from stock bench seat

What seats are a direct fit with little to no mods. Is there an extensive write up on here somewhere? Pics would be nice, lets see yours.

Re: Bucket seat conversion from stock bench seat

We swapped Blazer Buckets into my son's Burb. We used the seat track layout from a Blazer to locate the mounting holes and then made up renforcements for the weld nuts.

Non of the original holes could be used.

Re: Bucket seat conversion from stock bench seat

67-68 buddy buckets will line up with existing holes for bench seat. If converting to 69-72 you will need to locte a original bucket truck for the exact location of holes or find a washd out truck cab / blazer tub and cut floor out and get all brackets (including front bucket brace) or just line it up using the "eyeball" method.

Re: Bucket seat conversion from stock bench seat

If you are putting factory buckets in, you can re-use the outer mounting holes from the bench seat, and just drill new ones for the inner holes.
