back-firing problems

hey guys i haven't been on here for a while, but im still working on my truck and still a project. Anyways i have this problem when i punch on the gas sometimes or every once in a while it back fires once and sometimes it bogs. I just fixed the timing and when i did the timing, i put the #1 piston up to TDC mark and everything set right and still does the same thing. if anyone can help that would be cool thanks....

Re: back-firing problems

I would adjust or check your accelorator pump. Sounds like it needs to apply some more fuel along with the air when you stomp on it.
